it's ussually that we drink after game because what we see on the ground....this show must be potkrijepljen with marty beer or karlovačko (also we have a kaltenberg..).and that traje li ga traje and we hope this season will be mrvicu better..so - you are welcome on our stadium to share everything with us..in bad and good...and please at least, try to have a some money in your pocket.if don't want pay ticket..you will buy a beer to our ghostbuster, manus and crazy first.

sincerely.the moon cool.

i šta ti bobika misliš da su stranci stranci?
jesu vraga...
vidiš da i u arijevskoj reprezentaciji igra crnac, a i kod nas stranac više nije stranac..eduardo npr.
nema ti ovdi stranaca...ako vole hajduka onda i razumiju, ukoliko su "bez blatobrana upali" onda nisu ni tribali upadat. ou jes.

Scotsman,

I hope you continue to enjoy your time in Croatia and make it to the game when you are there. You will have no problem buying a ticket as someone already said and yes, you will have to pay but it is dirt cheap unlike the UK My only advice would be to keep your wits about you at the game and afterwards as they are a bunch of nut-bars when this fixture is being played. However, probably nothing you havent seen before at a post-match derby in Scotland!

It is probably good that you dont understand alot of the bullshit that some of these twats have written in Croatian. There problem is that one day Croatia will intergrate into Europe, they will have to get off their lazy arses and get jobs, and their Mummys and Daddys wont be around to give them another Kuna as they would have already spent it.

Pozdrav,
KiwiCroat

KiwiCroat,
thanks for the information, and the reply in english! my understanding of Croatian is very limited i am afraid, although i am trying to learn more.

looking forward to the derby game in split and appreciate the potential for trouble. as you say, the glasgow derby is also a dangerous fixture so i should be well prepared!

Pozdrav,
Scotsman.

Scotsman,

Hate to rain on your parade but I had a look at the draw and note that the game on 19 August that you want to go and see is between Hajduk v NK Zagreb-this is not Dinamo but the other team from Zagreb! I think they are currently coached by Blazevic (who was the coach of the Croatia 98 team in France when we got third) but am not sure.

I would still take in the game and atmosphere around the stadium if you get the opportunity-I wouldnt expect a huge crowd for this one though-probably a few thousand or so.

All the best mate,

KiwiCroat

thanks KiwiCroat, i have just checked this myself on http://www.prva-hnl.hr, thought it was too good to be true! i had originally read hajduk - dinamo on 19th august on another website, should have checked the official league website though. damn.

i know who NK zagreb are and will still be there for the game, at least i will get the chance to visit poljud for a match!

thanks again buddy,

scotsman.

Hi Celtic
Do you fancy meeting up for a beer at this game?
I'm an Evertonian who will be on holiday in Dubrovnik and travelling up to Split for the game.
Are you going to Parkhead on Sunday ?
I'm giving it a miss but a few friends are going.
Celtic are my second team. I've seen them in Europe a few times.
Let me know what you think.
Cheers
Bren

Hail hail bren!
Would be happy to meet you for a beer mate, I have a couple of mates who are toffees, you are a good lot. Not sure about naysmith for £1million, mind you!
Reading your other posts, are you heading home on the day after the game, 20th august? Will you be ok for getting back to dubrovnik from split in time? I was in dubrovnik last year, you'll enjoy it. Who are you going on holiday with? Im going on honeymoon to split but heading to the football, im just an old romantic!
Did you make same mistake as me and think it was hajduk v dinamo? Bummer eh? Still, should be a good game against nk zagreb, I've been waiting a long time to get to a hajduk game.
Yes, im going on Sunday, and going on Wednesday for man utd as well. Looking fwd to it. Although our pre-season has been a bit dodgy so far, we should have some of our main players back.

Need to shoot mate, catch up with you later.

Sure it's a grand old team to play for...............

I'm on holiday with the wife and the six year old lad.
Don't think they'll be going to the game.
I might have to hire a car to get back to Dubrovnik.
It doesn't look too far (100 miles top), but seems to take an age by public transport.

If you look on the Everton fan sites most people would pay to get rid of Naysmith.
He doesn't offer a lot other than 100%. No pace and can't cross.

Now Stubbsy's a different matter. He's been brilliant since he came back from Sunderland, although I suspect his opportunities this season may be limited.
Talking of pace - his partnership with Davie Weir ...... oh dear !
I feel sorry for Davie. He's been a great servant but is constantly reduced to pulling players back as he just can't turn and stay with them.
Suspect his chances this year will be even more limited than Stubbsy.

What's happened to Liam Miller. He seems to have backwards.

Hope the wedding goes well.
On our honeymoon we went to Estoril in Portugal and I managed to get three games in ! Estoril were in the top league then and played Porto, then I saw games at Benfica and Belenenses.

Keep in touch about that beer !

psihijatrija,
why do you say chetnik? it's a bit much. i would say NO loyalty! celtic trained him from 17 and after many bad injuries gave him a contract extension. however, when he was fit and on good form after injury, man utd wanted him. he then saw out his contract and left on "bosman" ruling which meant celtic got no money for him. this did not go well with celtic support as we had stood by him in bad times and he turned his back on us. where is he now? playing for leeds reserves? the grass isnt always greener!

Evertonian,
sadly, have to agree with stubbs and weir. weir for scotland and stubbs for celtic were both great in their day but are finished. hoping mcfadden can get a run this seson but when you see the everton squad, i think he'll struggle.

all the best for the game mate, will stay in touch via this board,
