I've read through some recent articles and I don't understand, as you know I don't speak Croatian, but it's something about Niko Kranjcar flew to San Francisco with Simona. I bet you know what I am talking about, but if you don't you can take a look at http://www.slobodnadalmacija.hr/20060629/sport01.asp So can you guys tell me what happened exactly? well..we really don't now what's happened with this guy and Simona...Why they flying to USA? But Niko Kranghchar is still a Hajduk player till he find a new destination...Is it a America ?, we don't now....
But for America is much more better that KRANGHCHAR arrived at J.F.K airport then sombody like Osama...

KRANGHCHAR is a nice guy and we wish all the best for him...

There was talk about him going to an american university and playing college football but that is not a realistic option because there is no way that Hajduk will release him from his contract which runs till 2008. unless ofcourse one of those universties pays Hajduk 2,8 million euros.That's the buy-out clause in his contarct and if he would be willing to give up his 110 000 euro per year contract.

First of all, he can not go to college to get a scholarship because he already played professional.
American college athletes can not receive any money while they are playing (no sponsors, no nothing)
So he will not do that. I mean a guy went to relax, and now everyone is talking about it.
Is there a point?

Ofcourse he can't play college football while under contract with a pro club that's why he would first have to be released from that contract by Hajduk,which will never happen,but if he was out of contract then he could decide not to play professional for a couple years,right?And no there is no point in talking about it too much but then again there isn't much to do.It's summer time

dont you know by now that news are being sold based on bull shit.
especially in croatia.
give them something shocking about sport and you will have entire country talking about it..
niko kranjcars example, transfer to lyon, wolfsburg, bayern, wigan, usa, rijeka, russia....and so on

I have to be honest... I think Kranjcar is highly, highly overrated. Yes, I too had high hopes for him, but after watching him play at the World Cup, I have to believe he will never be a superstar in Europe.
